With the extreme heat lately, some customers have noticed a slight separation in their SPF50+ lotion during storage. Just to reassure you, this doesn't affect the safety, quality, or SPF protection in any way.
It happens because SPF50+ formulations contain a very high UV filter load, along with a high concentration of solubilising oils, which can naturally separate a little in warmer conditions. Simply give the tube a good shake before each use to bring it back together.
Your Green People SPF50+ is just as effective and safe as always, so shake and go!

Reapply frequently, especially after swimming, sweating or towelling. Insufficient application reduces protection.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

How to recycle the pump tube:
This tube is made from PP plastic, with 65% PCR post-consumer recycled content. It is fully recyclable and can be put whole in with your normal household recycling.
How to recycle the box:
All Green People cardboard packaging is FSC approved and can be placed in your household recycling.

Will this sunscreen stain clothes?
Due to the high levels of UV filters, this sunscreen may stain clothes. To reduce the chance of staining, ensure it is fully absorbed before putting on clothes.

What does SPF50+ mean?
SPF50+ means that this sunscreen offers protection above SPF50, which protects against 98% of UVB rays. It meets EU levels for UVA protection. Just as with any sunscreen, it must be applied properly and re-applied regularly to attain the level of protection advertised.

Can this sunscreen be used on face and body?
Yes, this sunscreen can be used on both the face and body. If you are looking for a specialist product for your face, we do offer dedicated facial sunscreens.

Is this sunscreen suitable for pregnancy?
Yes, our SPF50+ sunscreen is suitable for use during pregnancy.

What's the difference between this and your SPF30 sun creams?
SPF50 gives 98% protection against UVB rays and SPF30 gives 97%. This sunscreen contains a more modern blend of UV filters and it is as skin-friendly as you expect from us! It also feels different; this has a lighter, less creamy formula which rubs in almost instantly.

Is it safe for eczema-prone skin and prickly heat?
This sunscreen is very gentle and has been designed to be kind to skin that may be prone to eczema and prickly heat.

Is this sunscreen reef safe?
There is currently no legally defined standard for ‘reef safe’ sunscreens. We do not use Oxybenzone, Octinoxate, Octocrylene or Avobenzone, and consider our UV filters to be ocean-friendly. If you are visiting a very environmentally sensitive region, we recommend choosing one of our 100% mineral sunscreens.
